... in the life of Stylish Irish.
I bought a cover for my Ipad. It's pretty simple, you might even say low-key...
...and only cost 25 bucks from Typo. I might still indulge in the Marc Jacobs one I blogged about before but in the meantime, I'm pretty happy with this.
So, I've also come over all domestic goddess lately.
We had some beetroot from the vege patch that needed using up, so I made some Cous Cous with Roasted Vegetables at the weekend.
Of course I didn't think to take any pics of the finished product but it did look more or less like this (the recipe is courtesy of Kiwi cooking and lifestyle star Annbel Langbein).
Finally, look at this gorgeous book that arrived for me earlier today:
It's a late birthday gift from my honey and I love it. Take a sneak peek inside:
Almost as good as the real thing... better in a way because I don't think I'll ever own more than 200 different hermes scarves!!
Now I'm, thinking I might need to buy a new coffee table to display my new pretty book on...
Laters!

In praise of: Suzanne Kasler
I recently came across Suzanne Kasler's work in her book Suzanne Kasler: Inspired Interiors and ever since, I'm a big fan of the casual elegant interiors that she creates. Seems I'm not alone as Elle Decor named Suzanne in their list of top 30 A-list designers last year. It's difficult to pick my absolute favourite Suzanne Kasler interior of all those pictured in her book but if I absolutely had to, I think this might be it.

Goal setting...the stylish way
Look at the little piece of eye candy that made it's way into my inbox this morning courtesy of the kikki.K e-letter. This little treat is just the thing to spur me into setting some goals before January ends and I decide it's too far into the year to bother! It's split into five different sections and lo and behold, the categories are just as I'd come up with myself - it's meant to be! Sure, a regular notebook pilfered from work (if one were capable of such a heinous crime!) might do just as well but it wouldn't be quite so neat and nice and well, pretty, now would it?
